Philadelphia Q. M Depot It took me a while to decipher it perfectly the first line is faded pretty well. But I am proud of myself for figuring it out haha. So to me the blanket is pretty soft, but If I ever sleep on my couch I just lay under a 100% wool camp blanket so I am used to wool and it doesn't bother me. Others may find this blanket still feeling itchy even though it is mostly cotton. The fabric is napped. And if you look up events that have taken place around the date this blanket was manufactured, it was nearing the end of the war. I believe Germany had surrendered. So this blanket could have been used in the pacific or for US soldiers/Wounded that were still stationed in Europe. Thanks!Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
