This vintage Royal Model 10 typewriter has not been restored and is being sold AS IS. It is in good used vintage condition but needs some work and a good cleaning.
Condition: All the glass keys are present with no missing letters or cracks. Most of the keys work, but several do not. The platen is in excellent condition and turns easily, and the spa...ce bar works properly. The carriage works properly. The ribbon is included but could stand replacement.
The typewriter has no dents or deep scratches. The paint is in good condition with some light scuffing. A good buffing would do wonders! There are a few very tiny white spots on the front base (see photo), which look like specks of paint. Some of the decals need replacing. Some of the metal parts show some corrosion.
The underside of the typewriter is in good condition with almost no rust as far as I can tell.
The typewriter does need a thorough cleaning and oiling!
I've tried to give as much information about the condition of this typewriter as I'm aware of, but please be aware that this machine is about 80 years old! This is a solid machine though, and I'm sure the right person will be able to restore it to its original condition!
