Vintage Presto 6K Record Lathe Cutter Estate Find. I found this lathe and a few others in a recent estate auction. This lathe is a model 6K. It does power on but the platter does not engage. I am not sure if it is something minor or not. It will need some work but looks to be pretty complete. Cosmetically it is in nice condition. The cutting head is intact. There is no corrosion on the interior. The cord which attaches the speaker to the unit is brittle and will need replaced. With a l...ittle work this will be a great addition to your collection.
