5 BEAUTIFUL UNUSED SKEINS VINTAGE FRENCH GOLD METALLIC THREAD c1930-50 ... Click images to enlarge Description I came across 5 more of these beautiful unused skeins of vintage metallic thread, made up of a fine gold-coloured metallic strip wound around a fine, strong core thread to produce a thread with about 2-4 thread per 1mm.
They came from a factory in France that had closed down.They are in very good unused condition. Each skein measures about 8"/20 cms long. I am unsure how much thread is in each skein, but there must quite a few meters in each one. Thank you for looking.
