The smooth and very detailed bust of "SHANDO" is verywell made with pronounced lines and has no breaks or struct...ural damage. It is a perfectly sized paperweight at a desk art display size of: 3 1/4 inches long, x 2 inches high, x 2 inches wide. It is PROPERLY SIGNED TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 889.This PAPERWEIGHT was made circa 1902-1920. This is a veryhigh quality bronze item with the beautiful STATUARY BRONZE DORE FINISH and ispart of the Tiffany Desk Set Fancy Goods. Tiffany used several finishes on their metalwork. Patinafinish and gold finish are the most common. Gold finishes come in smooth or"doré". "Doré" refers to the acid speckling found on manyTiffany objects. Tiffany also produced an in-between finish referred to as"statuary bronze doré", which has the acid speckling of gold doré, but is darker. The rarest finish on Tiffany objects is silver.
