SPECIAL NOTE - NO INTERNATIONAL BIDS ON THIS ITEM - A really great piece of Americana, this sharpening
stone was found in an old house way out in the country. I assume the box is hand made and it has a rich, warm
patina and shows great wear. All original. There is a tiny flake on the one side, on the edge, the part that is in the
bottom of the box, just 1/4" and barely noticeable. Sharpening would not be affected. You can see it at the top of...>
the one picture of the stone. The piece weighs 2 pounds. The box is 8 1/2" by 3" and the stone is 7" by 2" by 1".
The one side of the stone is very smooth. The other side, on the bottom of the box shows texture and a little oil.
