Up for Auction is an EXQUISITE LARGE ANTIQUE FRENCH GILT BRONZE & ENAMEL SCENIC JEWELERY CHEST BOX This is one of the finest Jewellery Boxes or Chests we have offered in a very long time. The Chest features incredible pierced Gold Gilt Bronze over Bronze ground and a very finely Hand Painted Miniature of Lovers in a Garden scene. I believe the Painting is a Watercolor and is signed by the Artist. The Box is also signed inside as seen and we are told would be around 100 years old. Please have another look at the photos, this is a very special Box and sure to become a family heirloom.
Condition : excellent condition throughout including a padded interior to keep your jewelry or small treasures safe.
Size : Nice large and impressive size, measuring 9-1/4 inches long by 6-1/2 inches wide and sitting 2-1/2 inches tall. The Box also has a quality weight of 1404 grams.
