Ruby Red Over Snowflake Glass Snuff Bottle. This is a fine, flattened, pear shaped snuff bottle, with a round elongated neck, and a raised oval footing, decorated with a ruby red overlay on a snowflake ground, in relief, depicting plants. I believe it to be late 19th C but I cannot see any markings. It comes with a light green glass stopper. This snuff bottle shows signs that it was actually used as such as it contains the original snuff scoop which still has snuff encrusted on it. The... bottle is in great preserved condition.
