A stunning and large antique Italian pottery Maiolica duck pate tureen hand painted in bright colors of blue and green by Cantagalli, reflecting the revival of the popular salt glazed pottery produced in the 15th-17th century. This striking tureen has an unglazed base and has a painted Cantagalli and Italia mark.
Please examine all pictures carefully, they are part of the description. The neck was broken in the past and repaired. There is a small chip on the beak. Sold as is. It mea...sures approximately 12" long by 5" wide and 9" tall.
