19thC French Gilt Bronze Champleve / Cloisonné Enamel & Green Onyx Platter Tray c1880
Acquired in France recently, this very decorative platter is fab quality, a solid, substantial & heavy piece. Striking colours to the enamel & all looks to be in good order with no damage/loss. An interesting shape to this platter too, note the alternate large & small curved corners, almost asymmetric.Good patina to the underside, it's not cleaned, has stains which would clean ...off if preferred, gilt finish visible around edge on underside.
