This "Sanderson" "Regular Model" camera was produced by "Houghton-Butcher Ltd.".There are no holes or splits to the red leather tapered bellows, however, there is a little fading and marks, mainly, to the creases and folds.The camera retracts and extends as it should and locks into place well and the brass fittings have retained much of their original lacquering.The camera is fitted with a "Bausch & Lomb" shutter, this appears to be working.The lens is a "Beck Convertible Double Aplan...at, f 7.7 6" lens. The glass elements appear to be free from cracks or chips.The mahogany body is Moroccan leather covered, however, there are the usual scuffs, marks and scratches you would expect from a well used item of this age.The polished mahogany has developed a lovely depth of colour and patina over the years.The back of the camera opens out fine, the ground glass plate is missing.The catch to the folding front doesn't hold the door shut.The colours to the lettering on the ivorine makers plaque have a good colour and the brass plaque has "Regular Model" impressed in to it and there is a retailers plaque to the top.The view finder is still present.We are not experts in cameras or their accessories, so if you require any further information that is not mentioned in the listing please ask before bidding.
