Here we have for auction a superb Genuine Block Meerschaum vintage estate pipe in a long straight 'billiard' style, with a lovely rustic finish to the meerschaum, branded "Jambo". I believe these pipes were produced by the 'London Meerschaum' company.
It comes complete in a Jambo branded pipe pouch.The stem will accommodate a 9mm filter.
The pipe has been only very lightly smoked and remains in near-mint condition - just a few very light teethmarks on the stem.
There is just a very shallow layer of carbon in the chamber.The stem fixes very securely to the shank, and air flows through the pipe freely.
On one side of the shank is "Jambo", with "Genuine Block Meerschaum" and "Gt. Britain" on the underside.
Please note: the pipe stand is not included in this auction
Thoroughly cleaned and ready to enjoy.Sold as seen.
