This is the stated first American edition of George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four. Published by Harcourt, Brace and Company and a Book-of-the Month Club selection. The book is in good condition with no marks or tears with the exception of a name written on the first page, a wrinkle on pages 173 an 174, and dirt smudge between pages 174 and 175. The dust jacket is in fair condition with several tears. Please see the pictures.
