On Offer Is a Lovely Antique Folding Map Of Rome, Engraved By J & C Walker And Published By John Murray, Which Dates From 1862.The Map Is Made From a Thick Paper With a Linen Backing Depicting Rome With Monuments & Ruins Highlighted In a Deeper Tint. Plus a List Of Principal Hotels And Theatres, And Would Have Been Bought By British Travellers To Rome, Possibly As Part Of a "Grand Tour".It Is In Good Used Condition With Wear/Marks Commensurate With Its Age & Use Plus Some Aged Discolo...uration.
