Rare Pair of 1940's Northern Electric R4045C tube mono driver amplifiers!

Up for auction is a pair of very rare 1940's Northern Electric R4045C Mono 6L6 tube driver amplifiers.
Northern Electric was the Canadian Branch of the Western Electric Company.
These R4045C amplifiers are very sought after for their huge broadcast quality transformers and very desirable sound for Hifi applications.These amplifi...ers originally ran a pair of Jensen Field Coil speakers. If you want to use these with permanent magnet speakers you will need to make some slight modifications.
The amps are powered by two 6L6G power tubes in a Push Pull setup and uses a 5u4G or 5X4 rectifier.
These amplifiers are both in original condition with no mods.
Amplifiers share close serial numbers of 1138 and 1187.The amps were recently tested and found to be in good working order. See Video below... Because the amps are in original condition it would be recommended to give them a good service before regular use.
Cosmetically the amps are in good condition for the age with normal wear and tear. Please see pictures and video for details.
