Original Description:
Revox PR99 2 Track Open Reel. Condition is For parts or not working. Mechanics all seem good except  that the Reel Motors are noisy and kind of squeal on Fast Forward and Rewind. Playback however is quiet. Sound quality and frequency response are good on playback, but I did not test recordings. The main problem is that the shaft on the left supply table is broken. I will supply the screw and spring as shown in one of the pictures. As it is now, the unit can be used if put in the h...orizontal position.
I've also noted the following problems: tape counter not working, meters work but the lamps are burned out, and the channel 2 "ready/safe" switch is broken but it can still be operated.
Unit will be properly boxed to protect this heavy item.
