This is a Revox PR99 MKIII, ½ Track 7.5ips-15ips, ¼” reel to reel recorder. If you’re reading this, then Idon’t need to discuss the quality of this machine. This one has some issues butI believe that it is a really solid platform. First, my understanding was thatonly the MKIII’s had a digital counter. The chassis has MKII on it but it hasthe digital counter. Second, it is missing the pinch roller; third, while thetransport functions correctly, all of the signal electronics ar...e dead. I tracedthis to the power supply where there is no 21VDC output; lastly the cover forthe transport keys is missing along with a couple of knobs. Otherwise the headslook good, the motors are strong, the unit is clean and doesn’t appear to bebeat up. It is rack mountable. I bought it to fix and use but it has been onthe shelf for three years and it’s time to let someone who has the energy fixit up. I will include the service and op manuals on a CD.
