Original Description:
A BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE HAND PAINTED MORIAGE GOLD GILDED FOOTED BISCUIT/GINGER JAR WITH PAINTED FLOWERS.  The shape is bulbous. 
Measures 7.5" tall and 6.5" wide.
It is in Very Good Condition. I see a very small crack in the inside rim when you lift the lid and a chip on the outer rim but it is not noticeable and definitely does NOT detract from the beautiful piece it is.  Some of the gold has rubbed off on the finial and the feet from age.
It could be a Nippon, mad...e in Japan but there is no markings.
