A very fine turn of the century S. Kirk & Son sterling silver pitcher.
Completely hand decorated at the factory.
A perfect example of the firm's turn of the century workmanship.

In classic tapering urn form, with scrolling folded leaf decorativeband to shoulder, stem and along of the stepped edge base.
All ov...er hand carved leaf and floral sprays, raised in exceptionally highrelief, above the satin like background surface.Split acanthus mount spout.
Leaf and flower hand engraved tapering elephant ear handle.
Never monogrammed.
Hallmarked as shown S. Kirk & Son Co. 925/1000.
Also stamped with the letter "F" perhaps for the final chaser (decorator).
This c1905 Kirk sterling hand decorated pitcher is 8 1/4 inches tallto crest of handle and weighs 14 1/2 standard ounces.
In very fine condition.
Appears little used.
Unusually rich sterling patina, almost a satin surface.
Retains original detail.
Sells world wide.
