RARE U.S. CIVIL WAR HENRY RIFLE BRASS CARTRIDGE BOX  This cartridge box has been attributed to the Henry rifle. The copperish brass cartridge box is in very fine condition with no dents or deep scratches. It appears to have been darkened so as not to reflect the sun. The spring on the lid is very tight. The lid has the patent dates (Please see pictures). The medal cartridge box retains a very nice old dark copper / brass patina. This is one of the rarest cartridge boxes assoc...iated with the Civil War.
