You are bidding on a BEAUTIFUL AND TOLD "SCARCE"TO FIND....ESPECIALLY THIS PRISTINE, ANTIQUE WHISKEY LIQUOR ADVERTISING "SHOT GLASS" OR "SAMPLE GLASS" , BELIEVE TOUGH WESTERN BRAND , CRISP LETTERING , IT IS APPROXIMATELY 2 1/4" TALL SIZED, NICE GLASS Antique LIQUOR RELATED LIGHT AMETHYST PURPLE GLASS COLORED once issued by liquor company called " GILT EDGE (pictorial of crown) WHISKEY." in 1890-1900 PRE PRO era , issued for historic an...d beautiful town of SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIAOver the years I have had a couple of "Gilt Edge" Whiskey Cylinder bottles.....but i have never seen the GO-WITH advertising shot glassBELIEVE THIS ADVERTISING "SHOT GLASS" OR SAMPLE GLASS IS EARLY, AND TOUGH WESTERN TOWN , ORIGINAL OWNER CONSIDERED IT TOUGH TO FIND .....IT HAS NICE CRISP WHITE LETTERING, AND IS A LIGHT AMETHYST COLORED DIMPLED GLASS, HAS GOOD AGE, WOULD TURN DARKER PURPLE IF LEFT IN SUNLIGHT....BEEN ON A SHELF FOR MANY YEARSThis is a beautiful and believe scarce old "WESTERN" WHISKEY LIQUOR ADVERTISING "SHOT GLASS" or "SAMPLE GLASS".....This comes out of a lifetime collection of antique shot and dose glasses , where original owner collected shot glasses from all over the United States...here is a stunning representative from SAN FRANCISCO in that collectionTHIS SHOT GLASS DISPLAYS WONDERFULLY, LETTERING IS CRISP & NICE, ..DISPLAYS WELL, NICE COLOR, VERY SHARP PC....LOVE THE CROWN PICTORIALThis shot sample glass is what I would call a light sun purpled to clear colored glass, it stands about 2 1/4" tall ...and it is a very nice specimen, ..THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL SPECIMEN, took pictures from all angles and in different lighting conditions to show glass, ...Has the age and would likely turn darker purple if left in sunGallery pictures should show you all you need to know, took pictures from many angles.
