For sale, a BEAUTIFUL GLASS, UPPER WHITE WRITING IS WEAK, BUT TOLD TOUGHER TO FIND ANTIQUE WESTERN WHISKEY LIQUOR ADVERTISING "SHOT GLASS" OR "SAMPLE GLASS" , BELIEVE TOUGHER BRAND , CRISP LETTERING , IT IS APPROXIMATELY 2 1/8" TALL SIZED Antique pharmacy LIGHT AMETHYST PURPLE GLASS COLORED once issued by liquor company called " WEIL BROS. & SONS (WHISKEY)" in 1890-1910 era , issued for historic town of SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORN...IABELIEVE THIS ADVERTISING "SHOT GLASS" OR SAMPLE GLASS IS EARLY, AND TOUGH TOWN , ORIGINAL OWNER CONSIDERED IT "SCARCE".....IT IS DISCERNIBLE NICE WHITE LETTERING (but tougher to read top part), AND IS A LIGHT AMETHYST COLORED GLASS, HAS GOOD AGE, WOULD TURN DARKER PURPLE IF LEFT IN SUNLIGHT....BEEN ON A SHELF FOR MANY YEARSreal tough to find these Western Whiskey "Pre-Pro" go with shot glasses, This is a beautiful and believe scarce old "SAN FRANCISCO" WHISKEY LIQUOR ADVERTISING "SHOT GLASS" or "SAMPLE GLASS".....This comes out of a lifetime collection of antique shot and dose glasses , where original owner collected shot glasses from all over the United States...here is a stunning representative from SF in that collectionTHIS SHOT GLASS DISPLAYS WONDERFULLY, LETTERING IS AS YOU SEE IT, WHISKEY BRAND AND TOWN VERY OBVIOUS, ..DISPLAYS WELL, NICE COLOR, VERY SHARP PC.....ORIGINAL OWNER THOUGHT THIS A TOUGHER ONE TO FIND, \This shot sample glass is what I would call a light sun purpled to clear colored glass, it stands about 2 1/8" tall ...and it is a very nice specimen, ..has great glass, the top part of lettering is weak took pictures from all angles and in different lighting conditions to show glass, ...Has the age and would likely turn darker purple if left in sunGallery pictures should show you all you need to know, took pictures from many angles.
