Military Aviation World Globe Denoyer Geppert Industrial Machine AgeIt is a 1940's Denoyer Geppert Military Aviation World Globe from the Industrial Machine Age during WWII. This globe is a hollow spun orb consisting of two hemispheres creating a 20 inch diameter. The stand is very heavy, made of solid cast metal. Total height of the stand can telescope from about 25"to 50", with the globe attached 4 feet-6 feet. Oceans are in blue, black slated land masses with yellow outlines. This d...esign offered the opportunity to be written on with chalk, demonstrating geographical knowledge by adding longitude, latitude, countries and more. These globes were used by the military and NASA.The condition is good, there are only a few small blemishes to the paint. Overall it's in great shape for its age. Message for more info or pictures.
