Antique 1930's Bentima Oak Mantel Clock with Westminster Chimes (Pendulum Time)
This is an Antique 1930's Bentima Oak Mantel Clock with Westminster Chimes. This clock is in very good condition. Unfortunately, it is not in working order. The pendulum only swings for a few seconds. The body is made from a stunning oak, and finished in a deep brown colour, with a mild shine. It stands on two sideways cylindrical legs. The face is a cream chapter ring with brass roman numerals, and... brass hands. The clock is marked: Bentima in the centre. Underneath the numeral VI it says: MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN. There is a silencing swith to the right of the numeral III. The three winding holes are for the clock to chime every quarter of an hour. The face has a brass framed, convex glass casing, which is inatct and in excellent condition. There is a mild patina on the brass. The door at the back is intact and in very good condition. The clock has a Perivale mechanism. It has four chime bars to create a Westminster chime. There is a pendulum with this clock.
