Antique JB Jenning Brothers Brass Repousse Trinket Dresser/ Cigarette Box1900'S
A highly decorated antique box made by Jennings Brothers with their JB initials at the bottom Jennings was in competition with Tiffany and produced many similar items, however at a lower cost. This box is brass with bronzed look with repousse boldly embossed decorations.
The top decor is a Colonial scene in oval setting and around it at the edges are flowing floral design ~&...nbsp;Art Nouveau design. The design extends to the sides with wreaths/floral bordered with a Greek key pattern at the bottom. It is lined with a melamine like material with a dark mahogany wood appearance. Four Footed The Box measures 5.5 in long, 4.5 in wide and 3 in tall.
