Lee Enfield SMLE No1 MKIII forearm unissued NOS and nose cap. It has not been fitted to a barrel or receiver. This has the Ishapore screw and requires minimal fitting to SMLE rifle. This is in very good condition! It has one small patch. The walnut stock has been finished with boiled linseed oil, the same oil used to finish Enfield rifles a hundred years ago. Patch is pictured in images 7-8. The nose cap is in good condition and has multiple proof stamps on the inside that a...re difficult to read (pictured). It also has a clear serial number 14569 over E.The rifle pictured is a 1916 Lee Enfield SMLE No1 MKIII with the same style fore stock. Which is not in as good of shape as the one for sale (rifle is not for sale). Check out my other listing for gun stocks and military surplus items.
