31¾" straight blade with etched floral scroll panel on the reverse with the Bavarian motto: "In Treue Fest" and the regiment's name on the obverse. W. K. & C. maker's mark. The blade is in German silver half-basket hilt with the Bavarian heraldic arms on the obverse guard. The blade is in very good condition with minor imperfections considering its use and age. The blade is unsharpened but the point is sharp and true. Horn grip has no visible damage or imperfections (it does have a very slight impression from the folded guard) . The original leather scabbard stop is in place. Scabbard with double mounting ring. Light scabbard wear to blade; scabbard with some light denting, scratching. See all photos.
