Original Description:
Large Victorian copper coal scuttle circa 1850 - 1900 with no obvious makers marks. Rolled edge joints, dovetailed side seam. No old repairs, carrying handle solid and swings freely, rear handle is solid. The base sits flat and square to the floor, small dings commensurate with age and use for coal but no large dents or damage impacting use.Hand chased / engraved on all sides.
