Madame Alexander Cissy 1957 , #2130.This dress was sold on a dressed doll. THIS AUCTION IS FOR THE DRESS ONLY! NO HAT OR DOLL.This is a GREAT dress with VIBRANT coloring. It has not been washed and is nice and clean. The fabric is a very soft sateen type of cotton. It has just a hint of a sheen to it, but not as stiff as a true polished cotton. Please note. Dress is NOT faded. I tried to get some close up shots but the coloring got distorted and appears duller than the... actual dress. I love all the details on this dress. The multitudes of Val Lace are so feminine and the aqua hue is the perfect 50's homage. Hatbox included.More info on page 61 of the Cissy! Book.
