Presented here is a fabulous 1950's Madame Alexander Cissette doll. She has red hair with a triple stitched part wig, still in most of the original lovely curls, the hair is lovely with a nice sheen and smooth. The eyes open and close freely, hard uppe...r lashes, painted under lashes, single stroke brows, coral mouth, nice coloring. The doll is hard plastic, bent knee, good strings, holds a pose well, marked on the back; MME Alexander, no splits. She is wearing the original tagged outfit, the dress is made with off-white full circle skirt with polka dot ruffle and rich rack trim with a red and white polka dot bodice. It has a fabulous stand up collar in the back with v-neck in front. The coat has the tag on the back, made of vinyl with red polka dot lining inside and tiny red buttons on the front, lined collar. There is some minor light fading of the red on the vinyl, just shadows. The hat is ivory straw, cloche style with a red velvet bow. She has cotton panties, seamed stockings and white strappy high heel shoes. The clothing is all in excellent vintage condition. There maybe a few tiny spots or age related flaws. This is a very lovely doll with great coloring and hair, the outfit is very rare to find. She is stunning!
