SPECIAL PRICE is a CHARMING ANTIQUE HAND PAINTED TILE TRIVET WITH VICTORIAN CHILDREN AND DOLL SCENE!This UNIQUE ACCESSORY has both FORM & FUNCTION, for in addition to being a decorative household item it makes the PERFECT DISPLAY with your antique dolls-------we have never seen one quite like it! The trivet itself measures a total of 10" square, with the porcelain tile in the cente...r measuring approximately 7 3/4" square. The tile has a HAND CARVED stained wooden border trim which sits up on four round BUN FEET, giving the trivet 2" in height! The tile is charmingly HAND PAINTED in lovely pastel colors, featuring a sweet outdoor scene of three fancy dressed Victorian children, two girls and a boy and their THREE DOLLS, two sitting in their little toy chairs and one toppled over in theirs! The scene is so enchanting, as the children appear to be singing to their dolls while the dolls hold audience, all amidst a green garden background and a glimpse of an outdoor little tea party set up! The hand painting has some slight age wear (we think it only adds charm!) and the underside of the wood under the trivet has an age crack, but it is still very solid and will DISPLAY BEAUTIFULLY in that special spot!
