Original Description:
Antique, hand-painted porcelain oyster plate, circa 1890.  Beaux Arts style, featuring an unusual octagonal shape with 5 oyster-shaped wells for the shellfish and a scallop-shaped well for sauce.  The design includes scalloped edges, gold trim, blue and orange pearlized accents, as well as images of smaller shells and seaweed.

Gold trim at edges seems fully intact.  No obvious chips or cracks.  Measures 8 inches by 8 inches.  No maker’s mark, either fr...om Germany or Austria based on the style.
