This is a wonderful vintage set of 5 Italian porcelain/pottery hand decorated coasters by Bucciarelli Italy in the style of Piero Fornasetti with wonderful colorful costume shoes and hats as shown in the pictures taken with and without flash. The theme appears to be costumes or theater. This set of five coasters comes with the original paper separator circles and the original round box as shown. The overall condition is very fine as far as the coasters go, with no chips, cracks, hairli...nes or repairs. I believe the complete set was of six coasters but this set only has five. The coasters are marked either Made In Italy as shown or Bucciarelli Made in Italy Milano also as shown. The round gold box is marked on the bottom Made in Italy and and does show some slight wear and tear. Each of the round coasters measures slightly over 4 inches in diameter by just over 1/4 inch tall at ends. This set would make a wonderful addition to anyone’s vintage Italian collection.
