Beautiful Vintage Cantagalli Majolica Italian Hand Painted Sugar Bowl with Lid and Rooster mark on the bottom.Hand made and painted by the Cantagalli workshop of Florence, Italy circa 1960s.It is painted of an Italian Village.
This piece is in excellent condition. Please see pictures for more details.Seize of sugar bowl is: 3 1/2" high x 3" wide.
History of this sugar bowl. It was originally purchased by my grandparents, whom were Diplomats in Germany in the years of 1960's... through 1970's. They would often go on a road trip to Italy. Throughout the years they bought several of these cup and saucers and also one sugar bowl. Since these have such a unique design with beautiful drawings of different Italian Villages, we are selling each piece individual. Please take a look at our eBay site for more of these listings.
