Fine Antique Pewter Communion Chalice, Dixon and Son, England, c. 1835 - 1855. The chalice is a rare form to find for pewter today, it is church pewter from a communion set and usually it is unmarked. This chalice shows nice details and workmanship especially around the foot and a fine tapered shape with a flared redded rim. This example is marked "DIXON & SON".
