Offered here without reserve is a large hand thrown 4 gallon salt glazed stoneware cylindrical storage crock, with large applied lug handles. Numbered 4 with a nice hand brushed cobalt blue floral motif beneath. A nice light-medium beige stoneware body. Probably a New York example or New England.

In overall good condition, my only apology is a tight hairline crack to the foot/bottom and b...ack measuring approximately 5" on bottom and 5 1/2" on back(as pictured). Typical surface wear and surface discoloration throughout.
