A handsome matching set of 17 large, thick and heavy hardcover books in dust jacket, with many illustrations and maps. These books are solid and complete and in excellent condition with only slight wear. A total of 19 volumes were printed, and this set lacks only volumes 13 & 14. Complete sets sell for well over $1000 ...to $2500 and this set should be very valuable.

Very Good to Near Fine condition: no torn or missing pages; a very few light pencil markings in Volume 7; no ownership markings. Original hardcover bindings, with only slight wear to edges. Original dust jackets, with light wear and a couple of edgetears. A solid and attractive hard to find set of rare books.
