DESCRIPTION
FOR SALE:This is from a very large camera estate in western PA that has been sitting unused in storage for many years. Note: I am not a photographer, collector nor expert. I am selling estate items. I am not able to assess condition in any professional manner. This item is being sold AS IS and may need cleaning and restoration to be used. Sold for parts or restoration. ITEM: This is an antique brass barrel lens for a portrait camera. It has a brass barrel with a single lens that screws one end and threads on the other end - perhaps for another lens. The barrel is about 2 inches in diameter. There is an outer brass barrel sleeve that runs on a gear to focus. The sleeve has a flange with three screw holes to mount. The flange has some bends. I don't find any markings on the lens to identify maker or power. When held up to paper, a distant images comes into focus around 6 1/2 inches. The glass needs cleaning. This auction is intended for buyers who can repair or restore as needed. Please bid accordingly. I'm selling for parts or restoration. I do not accept returns because you feel you overpaid, or it can only be used for parts. Please see pictures and ask any questions important to your satisfaction.
