Up for auction is the black velvet bolero and Lucite case for Madame Alexander CISSY. These pieces are from outfit #2017 which is the aqua taffeta dress outfit shown on p. 48 of Shaw's "The Cissy Files". The bolero has no holes, stains, or damage and the velvet is a nice dark black. It has a beautiful pink rose decoration on the front and ties. There is also the lucite case with bouquet of flowers inside that goes with the outfit. The case is in good condition, but there is some old gl...ue residue where the metallic ribbon tie was attached. We are offering the aqua taffeta dress and the black bandeau hat in separate auctions this week. This is such an iconic outfit, but not rare, so we thought someone might just need a piece or two to complete theirs, so we're listing them separately. Take a look.
