American Historical Dark Blue Staffordshire Platter Landing of Lafayette Very nice small size platter that measures 12&1/2" by 9&1/4". It's circa 1825 by Clews and has a provenance from the Ludwig collection. Condition is perfect with no damage or repair. The glaze is nice and shiny and there is some light surface glaze wear mostly just noticed in glancing light but a couple tiny scratches are through to the bisque....very minor and mentioned for accurac...y.
