This auction is for a beautiful vintage 1945 artist signed Wilhelmine Rehm floral gloss decorated Rookwood pottery vase as shown in the pictures taken with and without flash. The vase or planter is in very fine condition, with no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. I have pictured two areas in the middle of the vase which appear to have lines/dashes in glaze which are completely smooth - it was probably part of the glazing process and is normal. The colors are a wonderful blue and whi...te. The bottom of the vase is signed: with the Rookwood RP flame marking and the Roman numerals XLV for 1945 and what looks like the mold number 2193 and WR Wilhelmine Rehm’s signature plus an additional number 7059. This piece of art pottery would look great in anyone’s Rookwood or vintage artist signed pottery collection. The vase stands just over 4 1/2 inches tall by just over 5 and three-quarter inches in opening diameter.
