RARE Southern Horton & Rikeman mid-19th Century Savannah Coin Silver Pitcher. Extremely hard to find. Piece does exhibit a few flaws as follows: slight bend on one side of the spout (notice in photos as one side is lower than the other), and two small dings in the body (see photos with pointer), each relatively indicative of period lightweight coin silver that’s survived over 150 years. Flaws hold little influence on overall value due to potential ease of repair if desired. Marked ...Horton & Rikeman’ on the bottom, although the ‘H’ in Horton appears to have worn down over the years, likely from polishing. Handle and base remain firm and well secured. A gem among gems in any respectable silver collection. Stands approximately 9.5” tall. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail within 48hrs of receiving payment for winning bid. Thanks for looking!
