Modern (ca. 1980) Jaques Of London Staunton Chess Set And Wooden Box

Jaques of London full set of Staunton pieces with Jaques of London wooden (mahogany?), felt-lined storage/display box in very good condition (see photos). The pieces appear to perhaps be of the Fischer-Spassky design (I am not an expert). Box includes green paper Jaques label with signature on the inner cover and a metal plaque (depicting the Jaques label - possibly added by a prior owner?) affixed to the top of the box, which makes for a nice display piece. The box functions well, loc...ks, and includes the key. The key, hinges, latches and lock are metal (appear to be brass). The metal latch is engraved with "English lever". The dimensions of the box are 8.5" wide x 6" deep x 4" high. The king is 3.75 inches tall. The pieces appear to be all wood and are pretty heavily weighted and have good heft. This is a very playable set. I purchased this set several years ago but have had it on display and have actually played it only a handful of times. I recently obtained an expert opinion that this Jaques set is dated approximately 1980 or slightly later (based on the overall design and especially the minimalist detailing of the knights' mouths and eyes). All pieces have green felt undersides. One rook of each color and one knight of each color have Jaques emblems on top. The white king has "Jaques" and "London" stamped on opposite sides at the base. The full set of pieces can be stored in the wooden box (with divided sections for white and black pieces).
