Wow of a find! Rare and in amazing condition!! This Vintage Gretsch Snare Drum circa 1950’s - 60’s is in a gorgeous Caixa Midnight Blue wrapping with no visible marks or blemishes.
Sound fantastic, plays beautifully with original everything!
Appears to have original heads:
Batter side - white, no markings or name
Resonate side - clear / white with Gretsch Perma-Tone stamped.
Has original Gretsch ResponsO wire (missing one wire, see pic; does not effect ...overall sound).
After researching the above, my truest guess is that this is from the early-late 1950’s. I welcome any questions and am happy to accept any reasonable offers.
