Original Description:
This is a very unusual antique teapot measuring 12" long from edge of handle to tip of spout.  I believe it is pewter and probably early 1800's or maybe earlier.  It is weighty at almost 2 pounds.  In very good condition for its age: two or three small dents and the finial is slightly at an angle, bent a little a some point in time.  probably could be straightened but I will leave that to buyer if desired. I've collected a lot of teapots over time, but never seen an...other like this. If you collect early american or colonial, I think you'll love it.
