One is a humorous book (Babysan) dealing with male-female relations during the occupation of Japan, published by Charles Tuttle, Rutland VT, First Edition 1952. In very good condition. No missing pages, no tears, good binding. Part of a best selling series.
The other is a serious book (Our Enemy) written by a veteran foreign correspondent of the Far East for 13 years. Published by David McKay, Philadelphia & Washi...ngton Square, 1942. Despite the cartoonish cover, John Gunther, author of Inside Asia says the following, "Jimmy Young, a real veteran of the Far East situation, has a marvelous story to tell, and tells it beautifully. What he has to say is of great political importance in the present conflict between the United States and the incredible Japanese." In fair condition. Books is complete despite having some loose pages near the front of the book. This book, published during the war, is of lower production quality than the book described above.
