Carol..Singing...likely a Christmas Carol ...which would normally be a Christmas figurine to be enjoyed only for the festivities yet she is cleverly designed to be displayed always as the remarkable piece of art she is...She also happens to be the only one that has come to surface that is not just posing ... she is doing something...The feel and atmosphere this young lady creates is so nice and warm, the design, different textures, the bold blue against the pale yellow... Just so beaut...iful and so elegant in the lines of it’s design.
Excellent condition, no chips, no cracks, some expected crazing on her face (which gives her character), some on her hair and then just a few here and there on the dress but noting concentrated or detracting in any way, it does not show on display, only when taken under strong light for her face and hair but you need magnifying glasses to find the other ones.
Measures 7-3/4" in height and has her Carol foil label.
A rare gem to have and enjoy all year around and maybe highlight her for the Holidays between 2 candles...Then she creates a scene...Just a lovely, lovely piece.
