RARE WWII German Mauser K98 K98k ZF41 Optic CXN Type II

A superb original ZF41 (type II) model 1.5x scope for the K98k. This particular example was produced under the maker code 'cxn', which denotes manufacture by Emil Busch AG, Optische Industrie, Rathenow. Of note, is the fact that this scope represents one of the very last variants produced by the Emil Busch plant. This is typified by the use of two lubrication markings '＋△' (blue in colour to indicate the suitability for use within c...old environments), as well as the serial number which is positioned on the ocular end.According to the ZF41 database, this scope is 1 of just 7 examples of this variation which survive today! The scope also still retains both of the original rain shields, as well as the mount attachment which are all in similarly good condition. The latter part is clearly marked 'duv WaA214' for Berliner-Luebecker Maschinenfabrik, Lübeck. Optically, there is some dust and debris which appears to be resting on the inside of the ocular lens. However, beyond this, the view appears sharp and the optic produces a bright, usable image with a clear reticule! International shipping is available via express courier service
