Beautiful, very rare letterhead from Belanger's merchandise store in Maiden, Montana in 1891. Louis Belanger left his family around 1890-1891 for California. Natalie Belanger, his wife, was left to run the business and take care of the family. The Belanger store at Maiden was one of the only stone structures at Maiden. Natalie Belanger would have many ups and downs but live into her 90s. This is rare for the color logo and the fine condition of a rare letterhead.... I also like this letter for the content of the brief message to the bank at Helena...gold dust for a check. The first ten percent goes to St. Jude's Children Hospital...this is a big reason I am selling these extremely rare items on eBay.
