WWII/Korean War ID’d USMC Issue Lensatic Compass & Waterproof Canvas Case. Compass is marked “Corps of Engineers U.S. Army Mfg. by Superior Magneto Corps L.I. City N.Y. U.S.A.”. Includes original “Quartermaster Dept. U.S. Marine Corp requisition papers to S/Sgt. W.A. Russell SM5-2 Dated 7/30/51. 1 quantity compass lens attic prismatic type 134, luminous dial black” Case has two names stenciled in red “MOLL” and “ENKOPF”. Compass shows no signs of use retaining 99% fin...ish. Perfect working condition. Request form was found folded inside the case upon purchase. Good research potential. Condition is Used.
